Zachariah Hickman’s Power Outage Party

Zachariah Hickman's Power Outage Party is the unplugged residency the Boston bassist, producer and bandleader stages at Club Passim — no mics, no sound system and no lights, just Hickman and a rotating cast of New England players working acoustically in the round. Hickman is best known as bassist and bandleader for Josh Ritter, Ray LaMontagne and Barnstar!, and his primarily bluegrass playing carries undertones of jazz, Cajun, salsa and classical.
