X-Cops was a side project of members from GWAR and their extended musical family, performing in police uniforms with fictional cop personas. They released the album You Have the Right to Remain Silent... on Metal Blade Records in 1995, featuring a cover of Deep Purple's "Highway Star," and a follow-up single on Man's Ruin Records in 1996.
