William Basinski: The Garden of Brokenness

William Basinski is a composer of epic, haunting works for tape and electronics, most famously The Disintegration Loops. The Garden of Brokenness is his lament built from 1979 piano tape loops, a meditation on decay, loss and longing, realized live with pianist Adam Tendler and light designer A.J. Weissbard.
