Wild Pink’s next Boston-area show is December 2, 2026 at Deep Cuts.
Wild Pink is the project of New York songwriter John Ross, who started it in 2015 and has widened it from scrappy indie rock into something closer to heartland songwriting with an ambient streak. A Billion Little Lights brought pedal steel and strings into the picture, and ILYSM, written while Ross was being treated for cancer, made the stakes plain without ever raising its voice. The live show runs quieter than the records, which suits songs built on small observations.
