Ward Hayden and The Outliers

Ward Hayden and The Outliers are a Boston honky-tonk band, the same group that spent more than a decade touring as Girls Guns and Glory before taking their singer's name in 2018. Hayden sings in a high, keening twang that invites obvious Hank Williams comparisons, and the band leans into it with an annual Hank tribute show that has become a local institution. Their own material is road-worn country and rockabilly, played straight and played loud.
