The Velveteers are a rock band led by guitarist Demi Demitro, whose playing is heavy but agile, theatrical but nuanced, and grounded in rock history. Baby Pottersmith and Jonny Fig play on a conjoined drum set, and the band is known for rip-roaring live shows. Dan Auerbach produced their album Nightmare Daydream.
