The Point. is an Austin trio of guitar, organ and drums that mixes psychedelia, Saharan guitar music and cumbia with a jam band's looseness. The grooves stretch out and pull in garage rock, jazz, blues and dub, with nods to everything from Ethiopian jazz to Texas blues. Their latest album is Maldito Animal.
