Shoebert’s Unfinished Journey’s next Boston-area show is October 4, 2026 at Off Cabot Comedy and Events.
Shoebert's Unfinished Journey is a mini-operetta by the Arpeggione Ensemble, set to the music of Franz Schubert and made with and for North Shore children. It is built around Shoebert, the seal whose 2022 stay in Beverly's Shoe Pond made him a local celebrity, and follows his ancestors inland past the Lowell textile mills, the Folly Cove designers of Cape Ann and the shoemakers of Beverly and Lynn.
