Sabaton is a Swedish power metal band from Falun, Sweden, whose albums are almost entirely dedicated to military history — battles, heroes, and forgotten soldiers of conflicts from World War I to the present day. Founded in 1999, they've built a massive international following with anthems like 'The Last Stand,' 'Carolus Rex,' and '40:1,' and are widely considered one of the most successful metal exports in Swedish history.
