Robby Hecht is a Nashville folk songwriter working in the quiet, well-made tradition of early-70s acoustic pop: clear melodies, unhurried tempos, and lyrics that get where they are going without raising their voice. His self-titled 2013 album is the usual entry point, and Two People, a duet record with Caroline Spence, showed how well his voice sits in close harmony.
