Pain of Truth is a hardcore band from Long Island, New York, formed in 2020 by vocalist Michael Smith after the dissolution of Hangman. Indebted to heavy 1990s groove-driven hardcore acts like Biohazard and Dog Eat Dog, they released their debut album Not Through Blood in 2023 on a wave of guest features from hardcore heavyweights including Freddy Cricien and Scott Vogel.
