Pablo Ablanedo is an Argentine-born jazz composer, pianist, and educator based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who studied under Herb Pomeroy at Berklee College of Music. His Octet blends jazz improvisation with Argentine folk rhythms — tango, zamba, and chacarera — featuring an unusual instrumentation including violin, clarinet, and traditional Argentinian percussion, with albums released on Fresh Sound New Talent and Creative Nation Music.
