Overcast are a Boston metalcore band, an early node in the New England heavy-music scene. Their members went on to carry the sound forward: vocalist Brian Fair in Shadows Fall and bassist Mike D'Antonio in Killswitch Engage. Their album Fight Ambition to Kill came out in 1997, and reunion shows bring them back to New England stages.
