Omar Sosa is a Cuban pianist, composer, and bandleader born in 1965 in Camaguey, Cuba. Trained at the Escuela Nacional de Musica in Havana, he blends jazz, Afro-Cuban rhythms, hip-hop, and electronic textures with Yoruba and West African spiritual traditions. Based in Barcelona, he has released over 30 albums and is a multiple Latin Grammy nominee.
