Michelle Shocked's Bootleg This! is a spoken-word-and-song show from folk and activist musician Michelle Shocked, timed to the release of her audio memoir of the same name. The set mixes storytelling about surviving a 13-year music-industry blacklist with songs pulled from a career that has crossed folk, blues, swing and gospel. It's a talky, personal performance, closer to a memoir reading with a guitar than a standard concert.
