Maya de Vitry

Maya de Vitry is a Nashville-based songwriter who first drew notice with the Stray Birds, the Pennsylvania string trio she co-founded, sang in, and played fiddle for. Her solo records, including Adaptations, How to Break a Fall, and Violet Light, trade string-band tradition for something looser and more searching, built on plainspoken writing and a warm, unhurried voice.
