Lowest of the Low is a Canadian alternative rock band formed in Toronto in the early 1990s, led by Ron Hawkins. Though they never crossed into the mainstream, their punk-inflected jangle pop—especially the debut Shakespeare My Butt—made them one of the most influential and beloved acts on the Canadian indie scene.
