Liana Paniyeva is an award-winning classical pianist who specializes in Romantic-era repertoire, with a particular focus on 19th-century composers such as Brahms, the Schumanns, and Amy Beach. A graduate of the Donetsk Music Academy in Ukraine and holder of advanced diplomas from the Manhattan School of Music and The Hartt School, she has won multiple international competitions including the Iowa International Piano Competition (2015) and the George Gershwin International Competition (2019). Her performances have taken her to Carnegie Hall, and she is the founder and artistic director of the Young Stars International Piano Competition.
