kuru is the recording name of Keegan Foley, born in 2005 and raised in Rockville, Maryland, a producer and rapper at the center of the digicore and hyperpop scene. His music pulls from bass-heavy drill hip-hop through light, melodic, playful hyperpop, and he belongs to the DMV collective TooManyStrikers and the digicore groups Helix Tears and graveem1nd. His debut album re:wired came out on DeadAir Records.
