Keila Wakao & Leland Ko Play Brahms’ next Boston-area show is May 22, 2027 at First Church in Cambridge.
Violinist Keila Wakao and cellist Leland Ko return to the Apollo Ensemble of Boston for Brahms's Double Concerto. Wakao took first prize at both the Menuhin International Violin Competition and the Stulberg International String Competition and made her Boston Symphony debut at the 2024 Opening Night Gala under Andris Nelsons. Ko won first prize at the 2024 Naumburg International Cello Competition, third prize at the 2026 Queen Elisabeth Competition, and a 2026 Avery Fisher Career Grant.
