Jonathan Suazo is an award-winning Puerto Rican saxophonist, composer, and educator who blends Afro-Caribbean rhythms — including plena, bomba, and salve — with modern jazz improvisation. A Berklee Global Jazz Institute graduate, he was named one of the Grammy Foundation's Top Ten Emerging Jazz Artists in 2023, and his debut album Ricano was recognized by The New York Times as one of the best jazz albums of that year.
