Jean-Baptiste Cardineau is a Franco-American mandolin player, singer, and songwriter based in Boston, where he attends Berklee College of Music. Raised between the French Alps and Austin, Texas, he picked up his grandmother's 200-year-old mandolin in Montreal in 2017 and developed a transatlantic roots style he calls "Nouveau-Traditionelle," blending French folk, bluegrass, and Americana.
