The Jazz Composers Alliance Orchestra is a Boston-based jazz ensemble founded in 1985 with a mission to provide a public forum for the development and performance of new music rooted in the jazz tradition. The group commissions and premieres original compositions, and regularly performs at Berklee College of Music and other New England venues.
