Gorillaz

Gorillaz is a British virtual band created by Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, with four animated members, 2-D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle and Russel Hobbs, standing in for the musicians. Albarn is the one permanent musical contributor and works with a rotating cast of collaborators across alternative rock, electronic music and hip-hop. Animated videos and shorts build out the band's fictional world.
