Godwin Louis is a Grammy-nominated alto saxophonist, composer, and Berklee College of Music faculty member born in Harlem and raised between Bridgeport, Connecticut, and Port-au-Prince, Haiti. A graduate of Berklee and the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance, he has performed in over 100 countries and collaborated with Herbie Hancock, Wynton Marsalis, and Prince. His music seamlessly blends jazz with gospel, classical, and Afro-Caribbean traditions, and he is the founder of Experience Ayiti, a nonprofit arts organization in Haiti.
