This co-bill pairs two Boston-area video game tribute ensembles. GKit is an up-and-coming fusion big band reworking both iconic and deep-cut game themes through a jazz, Latin, funk, and rock lens. Magnificent Danger, an energetic brass-and-percussion collective, mashes up beloved video game and anime tunes with big-band, New Orleans second-line, riot jazz, funk, and hip-hop influences for a danceable, genre-hopping set.
