The Fully Celebrated Orchestra is a Boston free jazz institution led by saxophonist Jim Hobbs and bassist Timo Shanko, blending avant-garde improvisation with funk, blues, Latin and Balkan influences. The band came up playing punk clubs and street corners, and a long-running monthly residency has made it a fixture of the local scene.
