Ervin Dhimo Trio’s next Boston-area show is November 19, 2026 at Aeronaut Brewing.
The Ervin Dhimo Trio is the electric jazz-fusion project of Albanian-born bassist Ervin Dhimo, a magna cum laude Berklee graduate who teaches jazz bass and co-directs the jazz ensemble at UMass Boston. The Boston Globe described the trio as specializing in "fierce, soulful, funky workouts on jazz, pop, and original tunes" - sets that move between John Scofield, Herbie Hancock, Kenny Garrett, the Beatles and Dhimo's own material.
