Eric Royer is a one-man bluegrass and folk band who plays his homemade Guitar Machine: an acoustic guitar, a bass guitar and a cowbell hung in a copper pipe frame, all worked with pedals under both feet. The contraption is often compared to a Rube Goldberg sculpture, and he built it portable enough to play on the street and in subways.
