The Electric Heaters are a Boston-based instrumental trio led by guitarist Matt Heaton, playing a cinematic blend of retro-sonic surf noir — reverb-soaked guitar twang evoking spy films, spaghetti westerns, and soul, in the tradition of Morricone and Link Wray. Their 2022 debut studio album From the Film of the Same Name reimagines forgotten B-movie themes from the 1960s through 1980s.
