Dan Kelly is the soulful frontman of Southern California reggae-rock band Fortunate Youth, a self-taught guitarist and songwriter. On his own he plays those feel-good reggae songs with just his voice and an acoustic guitar, a stripped-down contrast to the band's full sound of horns, keys and bongos.
