Christian Sands is a five-time Grammy-nominated jazz pianist and Steinway Artist recognized as one of contemporary jazz's most compelling voices. His genre-blending approach draws from stride, bebop, Brazilian, and Afro-Cuban traditions while integrating elements of gospel and classical orchestration. His 2025 album Embracing Dawn on Mack Avenue Records combines agile post-bop with bluesy undertones and orchestral arrangements. He has served as Artist in Residence at the Monterey Jazz Festival.
