Chorus pro Musica is an independent Boston chorus founded in 1949 by Alfred Nash Patterson, known for Boston and American premieres including the Poulenc Gloria and Britten's War Requiem, and praised early on by BSO conductor Serge Koussevitzky. Music directors since Patterson have included Donald Palumbo, Betsy Burleigh and, currently, Jamie Kirsch. A Candlelight Christmas is the chorus's annual holiday programme.
