Canyon Lights is a Boston trio led by Pat Faherty and Tim Carman, both formerly of the blues band GA-20, playing throwback rock 'n' roll shot through with swampy Americana and heavy blues. Mojo Thunder is a Lexington, Kentucky four-piece whose pop-savvy rock owes a debt to The Who and Thin Lizzy.
