BT ALC Big Band plays what they call Big Band Funk: the classic five saxophones, four trumpets, four trombones and rhythm section of Duke Ellington and Count Basie, pushed into funk, soul and hip hop. Trombonist Brian Thomas and trumpeter Alex Lee-Clark lead the band.
