Brand New is a Long Island rock band that moved from scrappy pop-punk to atmospheric, dread-filled records that made them a touchstone of 2000s emo and post-hardcore. Led by singer-songwriter Jesse Lacey, their key albums are Deja Entendu, The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me and Science Fiction. After a long hiatus they return to the stage only now and then, for devoted crowds.
