Boarzoy is a Boston-based metal band who describe their sound as "boar metal" — a blend of progressive, groove, and death metal with roots in Black Sabbath and Alice in Chains. Formed around 2022, the band developed their own aggressive yet melodic style after starting out covering classic heavy rock. They play regularly on the Boston underground metal circuit.
