Bill Baird plays space-rock tinged psychedelic pop, drawing on influences like Arthur Russell, Daniel Johnston, and Roky Erickson. He fronted the band Sound Team, which was the subject of the documentary Echotone, and has since built a long, prolific solo catalog on labels like Dangerbird and Moon Glyph.
