Austin Engelhardt is a Boston-based composer and improviser who earned a master’s degree from the New England Conservatory, where he also served as a Teaching Assistant in the Composition/Theory Department and the Avant-Garde Ensemble. His work challenges and reshapes communication through music, with recent projects including a collection of 48 graphic scores and an ensemble piece for five voices. He has published scores through Turnsōl Editions and performs regularly in the Boston experimental music scene.
