Allan Chase is a Boston-based jazz saxophonist, composer, and educator who has performed and recorded in styles ranging from swing and bebop to free improvisation since 1974. He taught at Berklee College of Music for over four decades and served as chair of the Ear Training department, and has appeared on more than sixty jazz recordings.
